I didn't know much about video games. There are some awfully violent ones. Heavenly Sword is one such film. It's been quite a while between my last conversation with the person who created the game. What he's hoping to accomplish is that the player feels that something is happening. Yes, there's killing. But the character I play in "Heavenly Sword", "Nariko", will ultimately protect her family and this runaway girl. It's an amazing game. It's more than just an athletic event. The landscape must be secured and taken care of. It's my friend's dream to design a landscape that inspires emotions in the gamer. Make them cry if the person you're trying to save doesn't get saved. It's not "Pac-Man". There are instances when I'm unable to imagine myself saying a particular line from the script. I'll ask the American and they'll reply "Oh yeah, yes. "That's how we speak about it." In Australia, we say some things differently - for example torch. I'd always ask "Can I use flashlight?" It seems to fall flat in my response, "Can I have the flashlight?"
