Felicity Jones is a native of the UK and is most well-known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at her 12th birthday and has worked in multiple productions and TV shows. Her career began with The Television production The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, which was a sequel to The Worst Witch. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in various other movies. In films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she achieved notoriety for her character. But it was her performance on The Theory of Everything' which earned the actress the Oscar award for the first time. Jones in her role as Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic, based on his life, was praised both by critics and viewers. Inferno is the Tom Hanks-starred thriller. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles gave Jones the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talent and contribution to film.
