Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous as the character Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the Telefilm Nightingales & the short lived NBC show of the same name; Erica Paget in Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. The native of California, Swinson began acting at a very young age. Her career began in the field of advertising where she appeared in a variety of commercials. She appeared in an episode on the sitcom of NBC, It's Your Move in 1984. The following year, in the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986 the actress made her screen debut. Swan, who is renowned for her stunning voice and a blonde hairlisp has been playing side roles in the last few years. In 1989, she was honored with an award called the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
