Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actress, best known in 2011 for her portrayal of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov was the first of two daughters who was born and raised by the parents of her mother in Manhattan. Tarlov began her professional career at the age of 10 as Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was well-loved by students in seventh grade. As she grew older and had a job, she spent her summers in Paris as a student at NYU Tisch's Tisch School of the Arts located at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she obtained the Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and was trained in a variety of acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company was an additional place where she learned. She also incorporated writing into her performance during the LAByrinth Theatre master class. Molly switched her winter black coat for a pair of black sunglasses when she arrived at Los Angeles. Her parents were very impressed when she landed a role that required just three words on iCarly. Since then, she's appeared in a number of TV shows and played Caitlin her main character in Winnie and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly is a fan of thinking she's an athlete, even though she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
